Why Become a Friend of the Library?

The Friends of the George Coon Public Library is a nonprofit, equal-opportunity organization with 501c3 tax-exempt status. Our purpose is to promote and improve library services, materials, and facilities for the people of Caldwell County. The Friends of the Library group was organized in 1994 to raise funds to support library programming, staff development and education, special equipment purchases, and to enhance the services provided by the library.
