Checkout Limits

If you are a new patron, you may only check out one item. Once you’ve returned that item on time, you may check out more.

If you are an existing patron, you may check out up to 25 items per person. There is an additional limit of 2 DVDs per household and 3 nonfiction books on a single subject.

Borrowing Periods

Books, magazine issues, and audiobooks can generally be checked out for two weeks at a time. DVDs are checked out for 48 hours.

Special Collection items like games and puzzles can be checked out for one week.

Fines & Fees

The library does not charge overdue fines for materials; however, those with late items are restricted from computer use and the ability to check out additional items. The library will send notices about due dates and overdue items.

Patrons are responsible for paying for any lost or damaged items. Prices will vary depending on the cost to replace the material.
